It's been while I had connected to SQL Server installed in my laptop using SQL Server management studio (SSMS).
When I tried connecting using SSMS, I got error as shown in below screenshot:
Then I tried to restart the service by typing Services.msc from Run, I got error as shown in below screenshot:

In the Event Viewer, I found the SQL Server evaluation period has been expired.

To get connected to SQL Server again, if you have a product key goto SQL Server SETUP.Exe -> Maintenance -> do Edition upgrade

or uninstall the currently installed evaluation edition (Control Panel -> Programs -> remove SQL server installation completely), restart the machine and reinstall again, this can be used for next 180 days
